Day 1 – Hello Jordan!


To start your 12 day trip discovering Jordan’s endless history and breathtaking nature, our driver will pick you up from the airport and take you to Amman. Enjoy a tour around this vibrant city with an endless history. You can explore some of its astounding remains, such as the Citadel and the Theater. Or get an oriental feel in the downtown Souks. Day 2 – Ancient city worth of an emperor and find Crusaders in the forest

Today is the start of your journey through Jordan’s endless history and breathtaking nature in 12 days. After breakfast, your driver takes you to the ancient city of Jerash in less than an hour. Follow the footsteps of Roman emperor Hadrian and explore the beautiful ruins of Jerash. Here you find a city that is often described as Rome away from Rome and it once was one of the greatest cities of the Roman Empire. Take a journey back in time the Hippodrome, the Theater, the Temples of Artemis and Zeus.

After lunch, you continue to Ajloun Castle. The Muslims built this fortress in the late 12th century, to keep the Crusaders out. In the afternoon you can stroll through the pine forests around Ajloun, before you to your hotel in Amman.

Day 3 – Travel the road of Kings and explore the crusader castles

Today is the second day of your journey through Jordan’s endless history and breathtaking nature in 12 days. You will enjoy the spectacular views of the Kings Highway. This ancient road was travelled by traders and armies throughout human history. Among them were the Crusaders, who built two castles in the area: Karak and Shobak. These spectacular fortresses are waiting to be explored, high on their rocks.

The day ends in Petra. Get ready for some unforgettable views the next day.

Day 4 – Petra: Visit the eighth wonder of the world

A day you will remember for a long time, today you will marvel at the wonders of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This is a magical place. Follow the footsteps of Indiana Jones and visit the  Treasury and the Royal Tombs.
You will have a chance to explore the enormous area. There are lots of chances to climb up the rocky mountains. You can go to the viewpoint to have a spectacular look down onto the Treasury – most beautiful in the morning as the upcoming sun illuminates it. Or hike to the High Place of Sacrifice and take the trail down to the Garden Temple Complex.
If you have enough energy, stay for sunset in the Theater. In the evening, enjoy dinner with a local family.

Day 5 – Wadi Rum: Ever been to Mars?

This morning, your journey into the desert begins. A local Bedouin guide takes you on a beautiful hiking trail that leads you through Petra’s back door to the monastery, the largest of Petra’s monuments with its huge and beautifully carved doorways.
The adventure continues in the afternoon when a 4×4 will take you into the Wadi Rum desert, a recognized UNESCO site. Stroll around this spectacular landscape at your Bedouin camp, enjoy the sunset from your rock of selection and gaze romantically at the starry sky all night long.

Day 6 – Conquer Aqaba like Lawrence of Arabia

More adventure this morning, when a 4×4 will take you on a tour into the Wadi Rum desert, a recognized UNESCO site. Disappear into this wonderous world of weirdly shaped rocks with Nabatean inscriptions, canyons, sand dunes and Lawrence of Arabia’s House.
Even adventurers need a rest, and where better to do that than the deep blue waters of the Red Sea.

Day 7 – Sunbathe, dive or explore the city

Today you enjoy a free day in Aqaba. Sunbathe on the beach, go swimming or snorkelling! Of course, you can also spend the day on the private beach in Tala Bay.
For divers, Aqaba offers a number of beautiful reefs and many different types of fish. Are you more into wrecks? Beware, because it’s not only ship wrecks on the bottom here. There are two planes and a tank too!

Day 8 – Explore Jordans hidden nature

After a leisurely breakfast, your driver will drive you to the Dana nature reserve. Visit the 15th-century village of Dana, or go on a hike through the nature reserve. Enjoy the nature of the Dana Biosphere Reserve on various hiking trails. Wonder through the diverse landscapes with rich wildlife in the Reserve.

Day 9 – Adventure in Jordan’s Grand Canyon

Today you drive north to Wadi Mujib, the “Grand Canyon of Jordan”. A guide will take you on the Siq Trail, which leads through exciting gorges. This hike is spectacular and expect to get wet: there are plenty of opportunities to swim and if you travel between April and October you will wade knee deep through rivers and climb waterfalls. If you prefer a dry alternative, try the Ibex Trail.
After your hike, you will head to the deepest point on earth: the Dead Sea!

Day 10 – Sit back, relax and float at the lowest point on Earth

Today you can relax on the Dead Sea coast all day long. Pamper yourself with a mud mask, float in the salty water or relax by the pool. There is also the possibility to book a wellness treatment or massage (not included).

Day 11 – Follow Moses’ footsteps and marvel at ancient mosaics

After the long exodus, Moses got his first sight of the Holy Land at Mount Nebo. Here you will the remains of an ancient pilgrimage, with exquisite mosaics. Use the papal podium to get a view of the Jordan valley and see what Moses must have seen. On a clear day, you can see the towers of Jerusalem.
In the afternoon you will make it to Madaba. This cute town is best known for its world famous Byzantine mosaics. Marvel at the unique map of the ancient world, made of thousands of small rocks. In the afternoon you arrive in Madaba, where you can spend the rest of the day looking at the mosaics and churches.

Day 12 – Jordan adieu

Today, the driver takes you back to the airport. Enjoy your flight, while you dream away in the unforgettable memories you created in just 12 days and remember that Jordan will always welcome you back!
