Day 1: QAIA/ border – Amman
Your driver will collect you from the airport or border and take you to Amman. If you arrive in the morning you can take a city tour of sites of the capital, visiting The Citadel, Roman Theatre, the Temple of Hercules and downtown souks or explore on your own. Overnight stay in Amman.

Day 2 (B): Amman – Jerash – Ajloun – Amman
After breakfast, the driver will meet you and take you north to visit the impressive Roman ruins of Jerash. Wander along the Colonnaded Way, climb up the steps of the Temple of Artemis or listen to the traditional bagpipers in the Theatre. There is a restaurant where you can have lunch. You will continue further north to Ajloun castle, a 12th-century Muslim fortress built by the nephew of Saladin. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to your hotel in Amman. Overnight stay in Amman.

Day 3 (B): Amman – Karak – Shobak – Petra
This morning your driver will be waiting to take you south to Petra. Along the way, you’ll stop at Karak to visit the impressive Crusader castle. Then you’ll continue down the ancient trade route, the Kings Highway, to Shobak castle. In the late afternoon, you will reach Petra. Overnight stay in Petra.

Day 4 (B, D): Full day in Petra
You have the day to explore the beautiful site of Petra. Walk through the Siq and see the famous Treasury. Then visit the Street of Facades and perhaps climb up to the High Place of Sacrifice. If you have the energy, then climb up the 800 steps up to the Monastery. In the evening a family from Petra is ready to host you for a traditional meal. Overnight stay in Petra.

Day 5 (B, D): Petra – Wadi Rum
Today a local Bedouin guide will pick you up with a 4WD from the hotel. You will go to the starting point of a beautiful trail that brings you via a scenic route and via yet another entrance to the monastery. In the afternoon, your driver transfers you to Wadi Rum, where you will spend the night under the stars in the desert. Along the way, you’ll see the landscape changing from the mountains of Petra to the moon-landscape of Wadi Rum. Overnight stay in Bedouin camp.

Day 6 (B): Wadi Rum – Aqaba
You will start the day with a 4-hour jeep tour along the best places of Wadi Rum cultural UNESCO world heritage: visit the Nabatean inscriptions, red sand dunes, rock canyons and Lawrence of Arabia’s House. After that, your driver will take you to Aqaba. Overnight stay in Aqaba.

Day 7 (B): Full day in Aqaba
Today, you have a free day to spend in Aqaba. Relax by the beach, g swimming or snorkeling. Or head to Tala Bay to enjoy the private beaches. You can also go diving, as there are not only beautiful corals to discover but also old wrecks! If you don’t feel like getting wet, you can also go for a walking tour through Downtown Aqaba or go souvenir shopping. Overnight stay in Aqaba.

Day 8 (B, D): Aqaba – Dana Nature Reserve
After a relaxed morning, your driver will take you to the Dana Nature Reserve. Visit the 15th century stone village of Dana or go on a hike through the nature reserve. Day 9 (B): Dana Nature Reserve – Wadi Mujib – Dead Sea
In the morning, your driver will pick you up and take you north to Wadi Mujib, the ‘Grand Canyon of Jordan’. Here your guide will await you to take you on the Siq trail – a hike through the gorges, which may have water deep enough for swimming (open April – October, alternatively you can do the Ibex Trail). After your hike, you will continue via a beautiful scenic road to the lowest point on earth: The Dead Sea for your overnight stay.

Day 10 (B): Full day at the Dead Sea
You have the full day to enjoy the Dead Sea. Get yourself a full body mud treatment, float in the rich mineral water or take a dip in the pool. You also have the option to visit one of the spas or get a massage. Overnight stay at the Dead Sea.

Day 11 (B): Dead Sea – Mt Nebo – Madaba
Today you’ll be taken to visit the market town of Madaba. On the way, you’ll stop at Mount Nebo for some breathtaking views over the Dead Sea and to see the site where Moses is reputed to be buried. In the early afternoon, you will reach Madaba, where you can discover the beautiful mosaics and churches. Overnight stay in Madaba.

Day 12 (B): Madaba – QAIA/ border
It’s the last day of your holiday, time to say goodbye. Your driver will transfer you from Madaba to the airport or to a border crossing.
