Bird watching day tour starting in Amman
Pick up from your hotel around 6 in the morning by taxi. A bird watching guide, member of Jordan Birdwatch Association, will take you to locations known by the local birdwatchers, on the west side of Amman; around Madaba and the Jordan Valley.
From his experience he will take you to the best places to share the beauty of nature and the birds of Jordan with you. Birds that can be seen in this area are Clamorous Reed warbler, Steppe Eagle, Woodchat Shrike, Isabelline Wheatear, Graceful Prinia, White-throated (Smyrna) Kingfisher and the rare Dead Sea Sparrow.
Depending of the time of the year you can even see migrating birds as the Great Rift Valley is on the cross roads of Eurasia and Africa.
The end of the birding tour, you are back at your hotel at 2 pm.
