Day 1

Arrival at Amman Airport. At the airport the driver is waiting for you with a name sign. From here he will take you towards the Iraq Al Amir Womes co-operative. This location is ran by local ladies and offers you a (basic) overnight stay and traditional prepared dinner.


Day 2

After breakfast your driver will take you towards Um Qais for the start of the hike. Today and tomorrow you will hike the first stage of the Jordan Trail (formally the Abraham Path). A local guide will walk you though a beautiful landscape. (This hike will be mainly descending, about 15 KM). On the way the guide will prepare your lunch during a break, where after you will continue towards the area of the Wadi Al Arab Dam. Here you will camp outdoors. Enjoy a dinner and evening around the campfire!


Day 3

Today you will be hiking the second part of stage 1 of the Jordan Trail. Today you will walk from the Reservoir towards Pella, in the area of the Sherhabil Ecopark. Be ready for a day full of nature, flowers and beautiful views over the Jordan Valley. On the way you will enjoy a lunch made by the guide. At the end of the hike you will have a short transfer towards the local family where you will be eating and sleeping tonight!


Day 4

After breakfast at the local family you will continue towards some local initiatives in and around Ajloun. Visit the soap-house or the women who produce home-made jams and other produce. Finish with a visit to the Ajloun Castle and continue towards the Dead Sea for some well deserved resting. At the Wadi Mujib Chalets you can enjoy an afternoon of floating in the Dead Sea (or go do the Siq Trail!) before dinner is served. Overnight stay in the Chalets, including breakfast.


Day 5

In the morning your driver will be waiting for you at the chalets. From here he will drive you towards Ghor al Mazra’a where you will visit the local community. Today you will be interacting and hanging out with the locals of this rural society. Do a workshop, enjoy a traditional lunch and dinner before you will continue towards the Feynan Ecolodge for your overnight stay.


Day 6

After breakfast the driver will pick you up and drive you via the Dead Sea road towards Aqaba. This road goes partly through the Wadi Araba Desert and will show you yet again another piece of Jordan’s nature. In the afternoon you will arrive in Aqaba. Here you have time to go swimming, lay down at the pool or go for some culture to the souk. Overnight stay in 3* hotel in Aqaba city, including breakfast.


Day 7

After breakfast the driver will be waiting for you at the reception of the hotel. From Aqaba you’ll go towards Wadi Rum. Before entering the Protected Area you will first make a stop at the Women’s Cooperative in Disi before going towards the visitors center. Here your entry tickets will be arranged and you’ll continue with 4×4 jeeps to the camp. Here you can drop your luggage, enjoy a BBQ Lunch before continuing with a jeep tour along the best places of this desert. Enjoy a magnificent sunset before a traditional dinner is served. Enjoy an evening where Bedouin will play their traditional instruments and sleep in your own Bedouin Tent.


Day 8

After breakfast you’ll have a short 4×4 transfer to the Rum village where your driver is waiting for you to take you towards Petra. Drop off your luggage at the hotel and go straight to this UNESCO world heritage. Walk your way through the mystic Siq until you reach the Treasury. From here you can decide to go up towards the High Place of Sacrifice or walk the Colonnaded Street. After a day of walking or even scrambling around this site it’s time to freshen up for the evening program: Um Osama will prepare you a lovely dinner at her house. Eat and drink like the locals do! After the dinner you’ll be brought back to the 3* hotel in Petra for the overnight stay.


Day 9

In the morning you have time to make a second visit to Petra. Make one of the many other routes through this huge area but make sure you’ll be back in time for your afternoon program! At 13.30 the driver is waiting for you to take you towards Udruh for a visit to the weaving women of Bedoubag. We’ll take you through the production process, where after the daughters of the weaving women provide you lunch. After an afternoon with these lovely women it’s time to go back. Tonight you have a free evening in the town of Petra. Overnight stay in a 3* hotel, including breakfast.


Day 10

It’s time to go back up north! Via the Kings Highway you will drive via Shobak Castle towards the Dana Nature Reserve. Here you will have a free afternoon for hikes in or along this valley. Dinner and overnight stay in the Wadi Dana Chalets, ran by locals of the Dana Cooperative.


Day 11

From Dana you’ll continue along the scenic Kings Highway towards Madaba. Here you have an afternoon to visit the St. George church with it’s famous mosaics, visit the archaeological park or go shopping in one of the many shops in town. Overnight stay in a 3* hotel in Madaba, including breakfast.

Day 12

Time to say goodbye! Transfer from Madaba towards the Queen Alia International Airport in Amman.
