Travel through Wadi Rum on horse-back for the ultimate Bedouin adventure! Suitable for less experienced riders and guests who prefer to have more sanitary facilities, these star-rides will take you to the best places in the desert. Go horse riding in Wadi Rum!
So you want to go on a horse riding holiday but you don’t have enough trail riding experience. No worries, we got you covered! From a camp in Wadi Rum you make a horse ride every day. During the 4 days of horse riding in Wadi Rum, every day you ride a different route. On this way the guide can alter the shorter horse rides based on your experience, so you don’t hold back other equestrians during their trekking. Or, even when you do have the experience but don’t feel like camping outdoors while riding in this beautiful desert, this trip is something for you. Of course you are still in the desert. Don’t expect to take a bath but the toilet is an actual toilet and not the next bush on the right behind that rock.

Guidance during the horse riding in Petra’s mountains:
Your guide is Eid al Hasanat, an experienced guide that we use for all of our horse rides. On trekkings from Petra to Wadi Rum but also on these horse rides in Wadi Rum. Find out more about Eid in our blog series “Inside In2Jordan” or visit his website.
In order to select the right horse for you and to minimize the risks, we ask you to fill in the booking form in which we ask you about your riding abilities. The guide always has the right to change the program if your experience is not adequate or if you put other riders or horses at risk.
The horses we use for our tours and rides are selected on their health and strength. Only healthy animals will be rented from their owners: on this way we contribute to the local economy as well as stimulate animal welfare. The guide knows each and every horse so please follow his advice at all times.
